    The Best Law Schools List The most prestigious law schools in the world are not particularly surprising in this year’s rankings, which were just released. The QS World University Rankings 2022 show that Ivy League, Russell Group, and major international law schools reign supreme. For the fifth year in a row, Harvard has defeated Oxbridge to claim the title of top law school in the world.  Cambridge placed third, with Oxford coming in second. The only other UK institution to appear in this year’s top ten, which is dominated by US law schools, is LSE, which came in at number seven Three more UK universities made the top 20 law schools further down the list.  They are King’s College London (15th), Edinburgh University, and UCL (13th) (17th). Queen Mary finished in 26th place overall, ahead of fellow Russell Group competitors Durham (49th), Manchester (58th), Bristol, and Glasgow, who tied for 66th place.  Leeds (90th) and Nottingham (88th) complete the top 100 on the list, which includes 342 law schools. The rankings, which are based on research impact, employer reputation, and academic reputation, cover 51 different subjects.  The results for this year are based on feedback from more than 130,000 academics and close to 70,000 graduate employers worldwide.
